Reproductive Health Program

The Reproductive Health Clinic at the Allegany County Health Department provides client-centered, comprehensive reproductive and family planning care for individuals across the lifespan — from adolescence through peri- and post-menopause. Services are confidential, voluntary, and available regardless of income, residency, religion, race, gender identity, or sexual orientation. A sliding fee scale is available to ensure affordability, and most insurance plans are accepted.

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Family Planning & Contraceptive Care

  • Birth control counseling and methods (pills, patches, ring, IUD, implant, condoms, etc…)
  • Emergency contraception (Plan B & Copper T IUD/Paragard)

  • Well Woman exams
  • Breast & cervical cancer screenings
  • Screenings for chronic health conditions (hypertension, anemia, diabetes, etc…)

  • Basic infertility evaluation
  • Peri- and post-menopause care
